Senior Education Ministries, Inc. has partnered with Comfort Keepers to offer to the senior community, an opportunity to learn to Read.  It is our goal to work with seniors who have either never had the opportunity to learn to read, or have low literacy, to reach their goals of being able to read The Bible,  their prescription bottles or even read to their grandchildren.   Literacy is the KEY to opportunity!  Let us be of service to you and give you or your loved one the opportunity to do something you’ve always dreamed of being able to do.
Join us on the first Thursday of every month 11:30am-1pm at  the Vigo County Public Library   Terre Haute, Indiana  for our FREE “Seek, Read and Find” Program. 

A LIGHT LUNCH WILL BE SERVED!

 To ensure your success, we will work with you individually to SEEK your needs and we will work together to READ and we will work with you to FIND what you need to get this done. Don’t let poor vision keep you from reading….We have large print books to share with you as well.      
Our ministry’s goal is to “SERVE OUR SENIORS”
Our program objectives are to:

• Accompany  seniors to professional, medical, and legal visits, as well as the bank, grocery store etc. to learn to read in their environment and specific to their individual needs    (individual case by case assistance once enrolled in classes)
• Advocate and arrange for seniors to obtain services such as: personal care, home repairs, meals, assistive equipment, and disease prevention.
• Assist with Telephone calls and set up home visits for care co-ordination.
• Assist seniors to be able to attend presentations in community
• Help seniors complete forms/apply for assistance in the community

We will utilize community resources to meet the needs of seniors. Through our partnerships with businesses and health professionals, we will work to assure that every senior can Seek, Read and Find!    You need to make the first step, call today to let us know you’re interested so we can assure we have enough materials for everyone that attends!
