Dine With a Doc®  

A monthly educational program that allows senior citizen veterans to get information from a doctor while enjoying a complimentary meal, having fun, and socializing with others.


REVELATION 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”


THE HEART BEHIND DINE WITH A DOC®

Inspired by Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, and His invitation in Revelation 3:20,

Dine with a Doc® brings seniors, veterans, and healthcare professionals together around the table. We open our doors to share a complimentary meal, valuable health education, friendship, and encouragement.

Art for MY Heart™

A monthly art program to help bring focus from hurt of loss to joy of memories. Words aren't need when creativity through art helps you express how you feel and in turn helps to heal.

Purple Harp®  

A therapeutic music program for veterans that will provide a sense of relaxation in a variety of ways. The joy of learning to play an instrument and have music soothe your soul will help veterans reconnect with their feelings, increase self-awareness, improve concentration and relieve PSTD symptoms. Community involvement with donations of music instruments or time teaching how to play instrument,

Not your typical exercise fitness program using memory stimulation activities, music, drum sticks and an exercise ball to enhance YOUR quality of life with greater mobility, self-confidence, physical awareness, mental acuity and expressive in movement YOU'RE guaranteed to have a "ball!"

Overview and instruction of the basic functions of personal computers to provide an opportunity for online communication and ensure safety from scammers.

Mingle with the Mayor

Mingle with the Mayor is a chance for community members to sit down with Mayor Brandon Sakbun for a one-on-one informal meeting to discuss community issues, build relationships and get a chance to learn more about the Mayors work. There is no agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know your Mayor.

Bible Study

We do a weekly informal Biblically based Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.  We address your prayer needs and open and close the study with prayer.  We also start our time together with music and singing.  This is not your normal Bible study, sermon, or Sunday service.  Our ministers are open to informal questions and give informal responses.  Often times, we preview and discuss various Christian based video programming.  Come one and all.  The door is open.

A 4-part program designed to provide resources so one can make informed choices regarding long range planning and enhance their quality of life. This is an annual program.

Signing for the Savior™

Signing for the Savior™ is a FREE educational program where sign language is done to music as a form of praise and worship. This class will be an active worship where we are expressing our reverent love and devotion to God and lifting Him up in exaltation through songs and prayers.
